Romance prevails as Saturday 14th February – the final day of the two week waiting period – looks solid for the Red Bull King of the Air.

Here is the latest update from contest director, Sergio Cantagalli:

Tomorrow afternoon the model forecasts winds to reach over 26 knots and gusts of 35 knots (stronger than on Wednesday).
Winds will start increasing from 1pm reaching full strengths by 3pm and continuing through the night.
The afternoon currently offers the strongest wind strengths and a good degree of confidence that these wind speeds will be reached.
Together with a good southwesterly swell timed with the right tide, this should help kick the event’s final rounds to success!
