New Zealand Open Kite Foil National Championships, Lake Taupo
Late February 2016 saw many of the New Zealand’s kite foil community gather at New Zealand’s largest fresh water lake, Lake Taupo for the 2016 New Zealand Open Kite Foil National championships. Lake Taupo usually enjoys great foiling conditions with winds between 10-18 knots and the most breath taking back drop set against the Tongariro alpine national park.
