Cabrinha 2019

The 2019 Cabrinha Collection

One of the biggest releases of the year – the Cabrinha 2019 Collection – just touched down

Cabrinha 2019

Alongside the return of some of Cab’s long-running legendary kites like the Switchblade, FX and Drifter there’s also some slick looking new products in the form of the brand new MOTO kite, Cab’s Hi:Rise foil eco system, the brand spanking H20 footsteps and some totally new surfboards as well.

Cabrinha reckon this is one of their highest performing kites to date with a wide range of use that’ll see it work in the waves, on the foil and for freeride sessions on a twintip.

If you’re after a one-kite quiver then this could be it! Click here to watch Pete Cabrinha himself talk us through the MOTO.

The Hi:Rise foil line sees Cab reentering the foil game with an expanded range that includes two new wing sets, the Hi:Rise Speed and Hi:Rise Lift, and two boards, the Double Agent and X:Breed, that can both be ridden without the foil for both freeride cruising and wave riding.

The H20 footbed system

New for 2019, there’s not much on this footbed system that can’t be tailored to your own personal spec. You can swap out the footpads for cushier or firmer levels of shock absorption and the 360° compression strap allows you to tune the fit to suit your foot for a locked in feel out on the water.

The Cab classics – the down-the-line specific S:Quad and the allrounder Spade are back for 2019 but they’re now joined by the aforementioned X:Breed, which is available in wave-only construction as well as as a foil crossover board and is designed to blur the line between flowing strapless surf and strapless freestyle.

Another totally new offering is the Cutlass which leans slightly closer to the strapless freestyle side of things but it still has plenty of application for small wave shredding and it can also do the business in lighter wind thanks to its fast rocker line and wider outline.

There are no new twinnies joining the Cabrinha ranks this year but the range still covers all the bases with boards for all levels and interests whether you’re learning to ride upwind, want a board for freeride cruising or are all about sending megaloops or pushing your wakestyle level.
