Wipika Kite (Issue #20 Apr'06/May'06)

Wipika Kite Shaped in Maui and developed by Mauricio Abreu and Jose Sanchez, Wipika's new surfboard is all about having fun whatever the surf-state. Less-rocker than a traditional surfboard means the board eliminates excessive bounce in chop while also handling the power of a kite. The rear half of the board has less volume than the front, and from the fish tail a slight edge to the mid-section turns into a more classic rail and double concave. The board can be ridden with or without straps and also used for regular surfing. Comes with wood reinforcements, seamless gel-coat finish and removable front pad. Size: 5'10' (178 x 47cm)
