The catamaran hull has been found that will form the base of the slider for the Kiteworld / White Air Slider jam happening on Brighton beach, 18 - 20 September. Chris Burke, Tom Court and Stu Munns are the masterminds behind the project that will see some of the world's best riders tackle a huge slider in the choppy waters of Kiteworld's home beach.
Steve Andrews from County Fabrications on the Isle of Wight has been brought in to do a professional job of welding the framework together - the slider could take a battering over the three day event, not only from the riders, but also from the often gnarly conditions off the UK's south coast. The full story of the build and the event will appear in Kiteworld issue #42, out in November, but keep checking back here for updates on the build and the event - it should be an amazing spectale.
