US Kiting National Racing Series

Hosted by the St. Francis Yacht Club, San Francisco, California, USA: 25-29 July 2007

The San Francisco Bay Kite Fleet and the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, California, cordially invite you to attend the 2007 US Kiting National Championships to be held Wednesday, July 25 through Sunday, July 29, 2007 on the waters of San Francisco Bay.

This regatta shall be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the SF Bay Kite Fleet One Rules.

All competitors shall wear full wetsuits. Half wetsuits will not be allowed. Water temperature will average 58-60 degrees Fahrenheit. Bay winds are from 15–30 knots.

All entries shall be members of the US Kiteboard Class. Competitors may apply for membership during event registration.

For the determination of the US National Champion the discipline will be Course Racing.

Registration may be completed online at www.stfyc.com. The Entry fee is $150, if received by 15 July. The Entry fee is $200 if received after 15 July. Late registration and check-in will begin at 1200 hours and close at 1700 hours on 24 July.

Sailing Instructions will be available at registration as well as published on the website by 18 July. The racing will take place on the City Front Racing Area, San Francisco Bay.
