The Launch of PKRA Course Racing
The globally recognized Professional Kiteboard Riders Association (PKRA) will implement a new and exciting race discipline to the international competition scene by hosting the first annual Kiteboarding Course Racing World Tour. The tour will take place in three locations in 2007: Portugal, Canary Isles and Germany with its debut set to be held in the warm and welcoming city of Portim?o, Portugal. Racers from all over the world will congregate for the first time in a world championship in order to define who will take the top place in this exciting competition.
Intertwined with the Portim?o Race World Tour are the Kite Masterscrown the genuine Freestyle Masters. Competition will join the best 16 progressive freestyle riders of the world as well as the four major Portuguese riders, both male and female.
As a true example of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Masters Cup, the Portim?o Kite Masters competition is a unique and premium event. The competitors will face a battle within an original group format, established to be the most challenging competition.
