RIDE ENGINE ENLISTS SENSI GRAVES
Jan 5th, 2015
Ride Engine is excited to add Sensi Graves to its growing list of elite team athletes. As Ride Engine’s first female team rider, Graves brings a vibrant personality, a long list of accolades and a wealth of world experience to the team. Graves is a professional kiteboarder, entrepreneur, and swimwear designer.
“I’m really excited to join the Ride Engine team for a number of reasons,” Graves said before departing on winter trips to the Philippines and Baja. “First and foremost is the fact that the Armor harness really works. I tried one of Coleman’s harnesses a few years ago and it has made all the difference in my kiting. I have been stoked on the brand ever since.”
Graves will provide valuable R&D feedback, global exposure and female-specific insight for Ride Engine’s line of revolutionary hard shell Armor harnesses, as well as the recently-released line of high-end, environmentally conscious wetsuits and the soon-to-come line of travel bags and travel necessities.
“Sensi is an outstanding athlete and a great friend who has been helping me test gear for long time,” said Coleman Buckley, Ride Engine founder. “I’m super excited to officially get her on the team. The Armor harness works especially well for women, so I’m psyched to have her help in getting that message out. Sensi is also an accomplished swimwear designer, so her knowledge in that arena will be invaluable as we continue development of our women’s wetsuits.”
Ride Engine is an action and adventure sports brand founded in 2012 by Santa Cruz waterman Coleman Buckley, with a mantra of grassroots ingenuity, intimate rider-designer collaboration and a firm dedication to the environmentally-friendly operations.
