One of the best and most evocative snowkiting events of the year is back in Norway:
The first Trilogy of Red Bull Ragnarok may be finished, but the saga continues. The battle for eternal glory will be back – bigger and better than ever in 2014.
Once again, on April 3rd-6th, a large herd of snowkite heroes will gather on the vast plains of Hardangervidda, to raise their kites and fight the cold and cruel elements. To fulfill the toughest snowkite challenge on the planet. To fight each other to be the first hero across the line.
The cozy atmosphere of Valhalla (aka Haugastøl Hotel) will be sure to keep the snowkiters in good spirits, and will be the place to rock their socks off in the godliest party on the plains - after freezing their toes off, that is.
As always, the number of spots is limited. The race to register starts already on the 1st of November. First come, first serve.

Red Bull Ragnarok was arranged for the first time in 2010, and is not only the toughest, but also the largest snowkite competition on the planet. 200 kiters from 20 countries are expected to fill the start list in a record time and compete in the cold and hard blowing conditions of the unforgiving Hardanger plain. The race course will be a round-trip of approximately 10-20 km. The number of rounds each participant will have to complete will depend on the weather conditions. After all rounds are completed the god and goddess of the snowkite heroes will be crowned.
