Francisco Lufinha is almost embarking on an incredible and surreal adventure.

What about 300 nautical miles between Douro and Lagos, on top of a surfboard, and with no planned stops?

This is exactly what the 2005 National Kitesurf Champion is up to.

With the past few months of hard exercise, he is aware of the huge risk he's going to take, but there's too much passion and adrenaline in it to not be worth it.

This young portuguese kite-lover believes that if the wind cooperates, he will link Porto and Lagos in 30 hours.

What was once a dream has become reality!
