Best Clip Yet of Lewis and Jake Pier Jump
It seems like everyone has heard about the crazy boosting antics of Lewis Crathern and Jake Scrace now! Two days ago, after years of dreaming about it, they decided conditions were right to boost over Worthing pier.A super strong WSW wind was what they were looking for and what they got on Monday. We spoke to Lewis afterwards and he said,
"We'd thought about doing it on Saturday, but it was so windy we were on 5 metre kites, but really we wanted to do it on 7s - they're much more sure in the air."
Deciding it wasn't a good idea on 5s, they saw the conditions looked perfect on Monday and went for it.
"I don't know how so many people managed to shoot it, we didn't really tell anyone", said Lewis. "But we've been buzzing ever since!"
We regularly ride with Lewis and Jake and these guys are seriously good in the air. We can't name any riders better experienced and skilled to try this. They are definitely in the
mega loop troop with Aaron Hadlow and Ruben Lenten, busting enormous airs on a daily basis.They are being talked about everywhere, we even had a call from a friend in Australia who had just watched them on Channel 9. Enjoy it boys, and go steady.
