 Over the past two weeks it came to Ozone's attention that one of their new Control bars failed in normal use. They immediately began to load-test all bars in stock at their factory in Vietnam to research the issue.
The problem seemed to be with a batch of bars from their BAR supplier in China (the leading bar factory supplying over 80% of all brands' bars) that they have been working with without problem for over four years. It became apparent that they received a faulty batch of their new Control bar that were sold with the 08 snowkite models that were launched in September 2007.
The Ozone design team have visited the factory this week and the problem is resolved. On top of that their factory now load test every single bar that enters or leaves their factory to ensure this serious issue never surfaces again.
To ensure the safety of all customers or any rider with a Frenzy FX, Manta II or Access XC models with the new bar, Ozone are issuing a PRODUCT RECALL.
