Ozone (Issue #16 - May /Jun '05)

OzoneThe ladies and gents of Ozone have been tucked away in their alpine huts, busy making the latest foils to be unleashed on beginner and expert kiters alike. The Imp is an easy-to-use, ready-to-fly two-line para-foil aimed at entry level or young kiters, who perhaps don't want to spend too much on the sport just yet. Three sizes: 1, 1.5, 2m. Next up on the entry-level ladder comes the Fury. More of a challenge than a simple two-line foil, it's still easy to use and is the ideal four-line kite for beginners looking to move on. Traction fun begins at 2m, through, 3, 4.5 and 6m. Progressing much further is the Riot. Designed for experienced kiters looking for a high performance, powerful kite that will take them snowkiting, KGB and buggying. Comes with bar or handle and full 'kite killers' safety system. Sizes: 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11m.
Finally comes the ultimate: the Yakuza; a high-speed four-line kite for experts on land or snow. Already leading the German, Swiss, Dutch and British buggy championships, it's available in: 2.2, 2.7, 3.4, 4, 5, 6, 7.3, 8.6, 10, 12 and 14m.
