The Liquid Force Solo 2 has just released after having been allowed to be developed in ‘due time’. LF state there was no deadline for production; release has been dictated by when improvements were proven and tested to enhance performance.
So, what are the improvements?
- Multi-point cascade bridle: creating better bar feel, response and even easier re-launch
- DK50 triple rip stop: developed and tested over a 2 year period, this LF exclusive triple rip stop has increased UV resistance and a higher abrasion and tear strength than any other rip stop used on kites.
- Tension Trailing Edge: This “wavy” pattern on the TE reduces flutter, tightens the canopy to frame connection for better response and creates TE strength.

Power | Simplicity | FunThe Solo has established itself as a market leader. In just over one year this single strut wonder has taken the kiteboarding world by storm. The design has proven to be an established platform. The lightweight benefits of drift and efficiency through the wind window and pack-ability give the Solo outstanding characteristics that span the all-terrain free rider all the way to the growing hydro foiling segment.
For the Solo V2, we have added slight changes that enhance the handling and feeling at the bar. Increased profile in the wingtips provides better bar response and non-visual feel from the kite. The addition of a Tension Trailing Edge increased laminar flow, which results in decreased fluttering giving the kite a smoother feel at the bar.
In short! The Solo is the ultimate free riding kite. Find more at www.liquidforcekites.com
