Snowkite masters 09 - Monday

Jim Gaunt and WIlliam Milne made the 17 hour drive from Brighton to the Col du Lautaret and will be reporting from the frontline as  Europe's best and some of the rest of the world's highest skilled compete for top honours at this annual event.

The weekend saw the French championships tied up by Guillaume Chastagnol and now we're into the main event. There's been a good turnout so far and although the winds were light on Monday, there's a good buzz about the place. The Norwegian's arrived today and set the freestyle area on fire. Renowned for their freestyle skill, their third DVD from ace film-maker Morten Gjerstad has just been released. You can read the review of it in issue #37 or watch the trailer for it by clicking here.

Our dynamic duo will be putting a gallery together for the monthly newsletter that goes out on Wednesday. If you're not signed up to receive our monthly kite filth fest, then you can see what you've been missing and sign up here.
