It was a successful first outing at the inaugural Kite SUP Run charity challenge over the weekend with ideal conditions to run the event and test out this new triathlon-style race format. The event raised £7,500 for the Armada Trust and Virgin Unite which will help fund the Kite and SUP Youth Tour next year in 2018 giving young people the opportunity to try SUPing and kiting!

The event will also return on a bigger scale next year at the VKSA 2018 from the 22nd – 24th June so it’s time to get your running shoes on and get training.

Extra legend-points are available if you complete the course dressed as a lobster!

The Armada Trust crew would like to thank CBK, The Sup Company, Eunice Bergin, Giles White and his son, Portsmouth Watersports, Clare Satchwell and Hayling Island Businessman’s Club, Havant Borough Council, HISC and all the volunteers.

Job done for 2017
