Kite Babes girls kitesurfing clinic at Hangloose Beach

Media Release April 2016

For the fourth year HangLooseBeach will again host their kite camp dedicated to women in Gizzeria, Italy from the 1st – 7th August.

The camp is open to all levels for an entire week, from beginner to advanced. Over the years the formula has proved a great success with girls joining the event from all over Europe. Bringing together women of all abilities has led to high achievements by the end of the camp, inspiring lots of sharing, learning, laughing and improving together.

Coaching is entrusted to top international riders. This year it’s multiple World Wave Champion and many time Dutch National Freestyle Champion, Jalou Langeree, who takes on the task of mentoring the girls.

To support the athletes, the entire HangLooseBeach International Kitesurf School, including six FIV instructors, five brand new boats and the latest RRD equipment is at the participant’s disposal.

The appeal of this project is further enhanced by the high probability of wind offered in Gizzeria. The daily thermal wind, averaging 14 – 16 knots is hard to fault and allows 90% of girls to achieve the goals that they had in mind when registering for the camp.

Many of the girls return for a second year, so get signed up and join the fun and improvements!
