Straight off the heals of the Egyptian held in El Gouna, Kristin Boese's next stop for the girls was St Pere Pescador, Catalonia. Held between 28th and 30th May, the tour saw new standards set what with taking the tour to two countries simultaneously as the passionate kitesurf 'addicts' also headed across the Spanish border in search of the perfect conditions.  

Unfortunately weather patterns over the Gulf of Roses meant the usually reliable thermal winds did not reach their usual strength which left the KB4girls group waiting for some time for the necessary conditions. They managed to find them of the second day near Leucate in the South of France, only a one hour drive away from the original event venue.

Here the group found 20-knot winds and perfect shallow and flat waters. The total time on the water worked out at five hours and the average number of new tricks learnt was two per person. Everyone returned back for dinner at St Pere Pescador both happy but also tired after the great workout.
 
Kristin Boese says: "It was astonishing for me to see how eager the girls were to find wind for our KB4girls clinic and how not even a single participant doubted making the trip up into France. It definitely was the best decision we could have made and while we had the perfect kite day with sunshine and great conditions it also made me really admire this troop of female kiteboarders."
 
Nicole Rimser, one of the event participants, said: "It was simply great. We had the best time ever with Kristin and Ania. I am amazed by how much I improved during this one day and through the demonstrations on and off the water. I can now ride toeside, landed my first back roll and tried my first jumps. I am still smiling."
 
On Sunday, the third and final day of the event, the girls took time to stretch, relax and recover from the day before. They also took advantage of the time to listen to tips and tricks from Kristin and Ania and practise their manoeuvres on land and with mental imaging.
