Kite & crash with the pros at the first annual Hatteras KiteWeek & Adventure Camp at Waves Village Kiteboarding Resort in Rodanthe, NC from September 18-25! Waves Village Kiteboarding Resort will host this to-be-semi-annual event that gives participants the opportunity to experience a full week at America’s top kiteboarding resort, improve their skills in one of 3 two-day kiting clinics, test 2011 gear all week long, ride some of the world’s most epic downwinders, purchase any kite regardless of size for $899, and enjoy activities like tandem hang gliding, surfing, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, and more.The week-long event feature industry pro’s like Epic Kites Owner Dimitri Maramenides giving a “Big Air & Board Off” tutorial, Jon Modica of Cabrinha running a Strapless/KiteSurfing Clinic, and Sponsored Mystic/RRD Rider & Eastern Tech Rep Adam Super running a Wakestyle/Freestyle Camp. Kitty Hawk Kites own lead instructor and RRD Sponsored Rider Susan Grossman will carry out the 2-day “Wonder Women” camp just girls looking to step up their skills!
