European Championship Freestyle 2010
The IKA and Brand Guides have announced the first official European Championships in Freestyle Kiteboarding for the upcoming year. A tour of five events will determine the best European Kiteboarder in the thrilling discipline of freestyle. Each individual event will also offer kiteboard racing with ranking points counting towards the IKA world ranking to cover two of the most attractive disciplines. For 2010 the series starts with stages in Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and at least one more country yet to be decided.
The tour is set to attract more than 250,000 spectators and is set to ensure extensive European Media Coverage. For the riders, the series offers a great opportunity to compete in a professional set up without major travel expenses, states Thilo Trefz, CEO of Brand Guides.
