Downy4Dollars
June 13th, Iop, South CarolinaOn June 13th the Air Club For Girls will be hosting a fundraiser called “Downy4Dollars”. Girls are asking to be sponsored just 50 cents a block in a 15 block course. All the proceeds will go to the Charleston division of the Surf Rider Foundation.
The Charleston Surf Rider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world's oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education (C.A.R.E). The Charleston Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation concentrates on keeping our beaches and waterways free of trash and unnecessary development to keep the Lowcountry beautiful, for your enjoyment.
All sponsors will not only be supporting surf rider, but they will also be helping the beginner kite girls commit to reaching their kiteboarding goal: get up and ride 15 blocks! This may sound short but to them it’s a marathon.

Visit the website to check out the 15 contestants collected so far for the Downy4Dollars. Sponsors will also be able to pay here via credit card or pay pal. They can also give money directly to the shop or to the rider.
