Aboards - Surfboard
First up with a preview model for 2009 are Aboards with their 5'6 kite surfboard; a high-performance wave board perfectly suited for strapped or strapless riding. Built with multi-layered epoxy glass, specially reinforced areas around the foot straps, pads and fins offer extra strength. Wooden stringers in the board allow optimal stiffness for confident, hard riding while a progressive rocker-line gives excellent manoeuvrability and sharper edges at the rear sides ensure clean exits and the utmost control. The squash tail shape at the business end provides stability for powered bottom turns without sacrificing the speed and feel. The board is also equipped with two wide EVA ergonomic 3D deck pads, Velcro adjustable symmetrical straps and a set of three thruster fins. Demo boards are available internationally.
