Presenter John Holzhall gets straight into developing the idea of the KITES teaching system on this DVD. The system has been in development in Hawaii for a while now, where short beaches and windy afternoons have allowed instructors to perfect the art of teaching on different line lengths. The moral of the story is, to earn the right to use longer lines. The makers didn’t lose sight of the goal with this DVD though: playing is still the point of it all, and is illustrated in the safe exercises that teach the students proper handling skills. There are no bells or whistles, making it a must for entry-level riders, and for instructors and examiners to incorporate into their teaching and learning.
