MOVE: Back Loop to Toe-sideRIDER: Pauline BoussardKeep a low profile but feel good with a hooked-in powered back loop to toe-side. This is an ideal move if you've got a head for heights as you can really get some nice floaty air-time, or if you're more about a fast rotation, just enjoy popping off those little kickers.
You can start to learn this trick with your kite high in the window for more float, but it's a good trick to start learning to get your kite lower for more powered tricks. Try to work your kite down to 45 for the whole trick. Your crashes may be a little harder as the kite will be pulling you, but it'll be more of a tickle than a full slap.
It's all about the pop, but don't be put off as pop practice will transform the mix of your riding and you'll be popping little styled-out airs from here to eternity. A back loop like this is easier than blasting off into a sent kite extravaganza, so if you follow these easy steps with care you'll have completed this back rotation before you know it. | • As this move is driven by pure pop, you need to keep your kite at 45.
• Slide your hands to the centre of the bar to avoid any unnecessary kite movements.
• Approach this move with moderate speed to generate some good pop |

 | | • As you're ready to pop, carve the board upwind aggressively, this will send your body into a back loop. To continue your rotation it's important to look over your original front shoulder. Keep looking all the way round the rotation |
 | • When you're well on your way though the back loop keep looking round to spot your landing.
• As we're stepping up a regular back roll to toe-side here your need to rotate the board 180 degrees. Pull the bar towards you back hip to rotate for a toe-side landing |
 | | • As you come in to land rotate the board ready to land, bend your knees whilst dropping your initial leading foot to now become your back foot |
 | | • As you land bend your knees to soak up the landing. Lean your weight onto your toes and cruise into your next toe-side move |
