More great riding from the Norwegians but this time with a twist: it's not all kiteboarding. If you've just read Underground Compositions on page 90 then you'll know what to expect from a film made by Christian Nerdrum, featuring the combined 'arts' of kiteboarding, wakeboarding, cable-wakeboarding, wakeskating and wakesurfing. Edited at a slower pace than most films this is a nice little mood-setter rather than a film that's going to ignite your fuse and make you jump around. It's more of an after-party than a pre-club bar, but sometimes you're just not in the mood for high octane action, but there's always time for style and influence. Christian's passion lies in the water and the summer rather than with the snow in winter and it's surprising to see just how good they get it over there. Featuring the usual suspects from the snowkite scene and what they get up to in the off season (and in Brazil sporadically), this film doesn't take itself too seriously, has a fun soundtrack and plenty of tidy action and editing. It's a watersports film, not simply a kiteboarding film, and because of that will hold the interest of a wide audience.
The Game was featured in Issue #24.
