|Spleene design team, led by Rainer Kauper in Germany, have seriously pulled up their sleeves over the winter and developed a stunning line-up of boards for the new season. It's all change: new ranges, shapes, construction and graphics right through to the accessories.
The new board ranges now fall into two main categories:
The Fun Tech Series of boards have been designed for freeriding and offer accessible performance for kiters of all abilities. Equipped with the new moulded Fun Tech Series foot strap/foot pad combo and G-10 fins, suspension tips, wood core and soft rails, these boards not only offer excellent performance but also look fantastic. But it gets better with another nice surprise being the credit crunch busting price-tag, making them really affordable for kiters trying to get the most from a low budget.
SIZES: FT DOOR: 160 x 44; FT SESSION: 14S x 42; FT RIP: 136 x 42 and133 x 40cm
With the introduction of the new Fun Tech series, the designers at Spleene were free to inject the High-Tech range with much more performance, attitude and a more radical look than in previous years. Thanks to the new wood construction and 'Jet Bottom' base the HT boards plane earlier, have better edge holding capabilities and more pop. Like the FT range, the High-Tech series features a high-gloss top finish and have been equipped with some mean new accessories. The new Diamond moulded foot pad and G-10 fins come as standard but you have the choice of opting for either the new Lace Straps or the TB foot strap system, which can be fitted without the need of a screwdriver.
SIZES: HT DOOR: 164 x 50 and 159 x 45; HT SESSION: 141 x 43; HT RIP: 139 x 47, 137 x 44, 135 x 42 and 132 x 40cm
