North 2010 Vegas, 2010 X-Ride
Back again for more at kiting's top end of the performance spectrum, the 2010 Vegas is a classic C-shaped kite with a pure C feel; reliable and perfect for massive pop and radical new-school freestyle. The manufacturers built on the best points from the last two years' models and have designed it purely for freestyle with the performance potential necessary for tackling today's
most technical tricks. Great stability and rock solid power have been harnessed thanks to the 5th element system, which combines maximum safety and depower abilities. Two trim options allow you to set your Vegas in either 'classic' or 'new school' mode meaning you can modify the amount of depower and bar reaction.
SIZES: 14, 12, 10, 9, 7 and 5m
If it's huge jumps you want, look no further than the 2010 X-Ride. An all terrain twin-tip; it'll boost large as well as perform mean freestyle and handle powerful carves in the surf. A responsiv centre-flex concept allows for earlier planing while also dampening and absorbing the chop for a silky-smooth feel. Throw in a refined, rounder rocker, a slightly wider outline and the tightened X-Ride's turning radius will impress. Excellent upwind abilities and strong grip for high-speed carves are down to the specially designed S-bend fins, holding the edge to the absolute limit for maximum pop and huge jumps. This was North's most sought after board of 2009.
SIZES: 140 x 41.5, 136 x 40, 133 x 39 and 129 x 38cm
