||At a glance you'd be hard fought to spot any differences on the 2011 Rebel over the 2010 model, however, take her for a ride and you'll see just how much a kite can evolve in the space of a year. The 2011 Rebel offers more power thanks to a refined canopy profile, which also helps increase depower when needed and a slightly lower bar pressure creates easier turn initiation and a crisper feel. Turning is now faster and smoother than ever
before. Aspect ratio has gone up slightly in kite sizes 10, 11, 12 and 14, providing a slightly shorter depower stroke. Profile shape, angle-of-attack, and overall kite outline have also been modified in kite sizes six to eight metre, allowing for better gust absorption. The 2011 model remains a five-line kite and keeps hold of the other successful characteristics from last year that helped the Rebel win the 2010 Kiteboard Race World Championship. The proof is in the pudding after the 2011 Rebel was given to 100 kiteboarders to test, none of whom could spot the differences in geometry and shape between the 2010 Rebel, but not one could fail to miss the improvements in feel.

The 2011 Vegas is a clear evolution of the 2010 model, yet still manages to keep hold of the characteristics that made last year's model so popular with the freestyle and wake-style crowd, including precise and predictable handling and an effective short depower stroke. The most important and most challenging innovation is the new Technoforce D2 material: developed especially for North Kiteboarding and introduced with the Fuse kite. This double ripstop material can not only take a beating, but is much stiffer than most common kite materials, allowing for tension in the kite to be used to improve handling and performance. Constant line tension means that unhooked tricks can now be performed easier and a second breaking line attachment features on 2011 Vegas sizes five, seven and nine, which helps calm the kite's turning speed. NKB Designer Ralf Grösel says, 'The Vegas is the kite of our team riders and is dedicated to their growing needs and wishes. I'm totally convinced the Vegas is the best C-kite we've ever had, thanks to the continuous development of an already convincing and established kite model.'
