NHP stands for Nobile High Performance. If freestyle or high-performance twin riding is your aim then the NHP is sure to please. Two major improvements on the 2008 666 were in mind during the design process for the '09 model. Firstly, to significantly reduce the spray produced in certain water conditions; secondly, to increase rider comfort and versatility without compromising the top end performance of the range. A unique hydrodynamic rocker line increases the tip lift and a tweaked heel-side outline and re-positioned foot-strap inserts that have moved inboard a fraction ensure minimal interference with the water release on the rail - a major cause of spray! Versatility is enhanced by utilising the dynamic asymmetrical outline, mainly on the toe-side edge, meaning that the test winning rail grip, early planing and upwind ability of the 666 have all remained. The SP on the NHP: unheard of levels of fun in an unashamedly high-performance board.
