|Continuing their weaponry theme, Blade will be pulling out the Trigger in their 2009 product line. Unlike any other SLE kite on the market, design modifications include constant maximum power throughout every movement of the kite without sacrificing the most popular features of classic SLE kites.
Blade have created a uniform bridle system that allows the kite to turn quickly, responding to steering commands without delay. The combination of a very efficient profile and wing-tip design makes the Trigger extremely powerful, even in lighter wind ranges, moving faster and maximising constant power. It's also quick, and its impressive stability and easy relaunchability makes the Trigger forgiving as well.
We were really impressed by the Blade Vertigo in 2008 and the test team have now all got itchy Trigger fingers. Read our review in an issue coming soon.
