Enrolling on a camp with pro riders is not only fun and helps you meet like-minded riders, but will accelerate your learning like nothing else
Professionals in any sport still receive coaching, but for some reason, us humble amateurs don't seem to. As adults, most people have built up more of a sense of fear than they had when they were kids. It takes more confidence and understanding to actually have a go at something. And we don't bounce as well as we used to either!
Clinics with pro riders are specifically set up to focus on your individual needs. Whether you're struggling with planing in toe-side, or are missing the bar every time on your handle-pass, there is a clinic out there that can dramatically speed up your learning process and increase your confidence to try even more things. Pro riders that run clinics have all had to overcome all sorts of barriers too, and now spend a lot of time breaking things down and helping people understand the principles and intricate techniques behind them. Not only that, there are clinics that take place in some of the best learning environments in the world, making your pace of learning even more rapid!
